There is probably nothing better than a hot, sunny day when you can eat outside your favorite taco purveyor and cure your dehydration / wash down those tacos with many margaritas amongst friends. It gets even better when the establishment knows how to make them properly and just keeps it simple by squeezing fresh, organic limes into a cocktail mixer with tequila, simple syrup, orange liqueur, and ice. The last imperative detail has to be the kosher salt along the rim of the glass. It is amazing how six ingredients can pack a punch and come together to make all right in the world... or at least quench your thirst in the best way known to human.
Not going to lie, my favorite margarita has to be the one with the Coronita (little 7 oz. Corona) dropped in it. Unnecessary? Probably... okay, definitely. Awesome? Sure, why not? Not sure I have ever met someone who turned down more alcohol, even as minimal as it may be. You'll find the concoction listed on the drink menu under various names which include Mexican Car Crash, Mexican Bulldog, Beerita, etc. You could always just order a margarita & a Coronita and drop it in the marg quickly yourself, it's not rocket science.
Some Wisdom: Resist getting a frozen margarita if possible, you don't know how long it has been sitting in there. Sometimes a server will say it "has more alcohol in it" just to get rid of the leftovers, don't buy into that hype! However, you may want to step your game up and pick up a "Margs for Days" Tee HERE to wear to that favorite establishment.
